Your tech alone can’t save their workplace culture…

This article from Tom Keeling, Data Analyst from our Smart Solutions Consulting team here at Cordless gives a take on the themes discussed at the WORKTECH23 London event.

Pointing at examples of the innovation on display, in an industry bursting with development, Tom highlights the role of knowledge partnerships between commercial real estate and workplace technology, warning:

“In an industry with so many black boxes, keeping each other in the dark will only stop our own tech from moving forward.”

Tom goes on to say that:

“The key to long-term success is nurturing what happens after deployment.”

Good point.

Our team champion people-centric design, focusing on the value generated for occupiers and asset owners. Data-driven insights encourage sustainable behaviours, and empower business leaders to create and maintain sustainable, effective, and comfortable spaces that people want to be in. But all the best design and technology in the world still requires a shared understanding of the importance of workplace culture in delivering that change.

As always, Cordless looks forward to continue to be part of the dialogue and research on the future of building and workplace tech.
