Smart Buildings Consultancy for HB Reavis at One Waterloo
Cordless has been appointed by international workspace provider HB Reavis to provide Smart Buildings Consultancy for the development of One Waterloo in London.
The total development area, located immediately adjacent to Waterloo Station, is 1.3 million sq ft and includes the redevelopment of the Elizabeth House site. The scheme will deliver three new public spaces: Waterloo Square, Victory Arch Square and The Curve as well as the garden Promenade accessed directly from the concourse of London Waterloo Station.
The project will see HB Reavis deliver world-class, future-focused workspace creating a positive impact for its occupiers, visitors, and neighbouring community.
HB Reavis recognises the importance of technology in realising this vision, and anticipates that a smart building approach to the base build redevelopment will transform the area to create a fantastic amenity space with digital connectivity at its heart.
Cordless will work with the project team to build the smart building strategy, develop the designs and then provide ongoing technical consultancy and project management support throughout the procurement and implementation phases of the construction programme.
The project has high sustainability ambitions to achieve net zero carbon in operation, BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum certifications, plus leading smart building certifications.
