The Challenge

Stanhope was relocating its London Headquarters from St James’s Square to 100 New Oxford Street. Stanhope was to take 13,500 sq ft of space in the building within the West End’s most exciting and well-connected area.

Cordless Consultants (Cordless) was engaged as the IT and AV consultant on the project to support Stanhope with the relocation from the initial workplace technology vision; through to the design, procurement and technology implementation project management.

Tom Larsson, Development Executive explained:

“With Stanhope’s relocation to our new London HQ, we wanted to build on things from our culture that were strong in our existing business. Working together with an open-plan floor layout was important to us. Improving the experience for our clients and partners was also a priority, to provide guests with a seamless and consistent transition from the outside world to using the different areas of our office. We knew that technology would be a key enabler of the user experiences.

The Solution

With the help of Cordless, Stanhope made decisions on which technologies they would transition from their existing workplace and which new technologies would be procured.

Cordless worked alongside Stanhope and the professional team to complete its workplace technology relocation by informing the technology strategy, creating technology designs and supporting the procurement and project management process.

Cordless’ scope during the fit out included: the wired and wireless infrastructure; an on-site IT Equipment and Patch room; collaboration and meeting room AV; video conferencing and presentation technology; room booking; and follow me printing.

The Results

Stanhope is now benefitting from an enhanced user experience in its London Headquarters. Meeting and breakout spaces are well equipped, providing the ability to wirelessly present. Room booking is much simpler and a visible reduction in print volumes has been observed throughout the business.

Tom said:

“Stanhope’s London HQ relocation to 100 New Oxford Street had a strict timescale, budget and objectives. With technology advice and guidance from Cordless Consultants, we achieved a good end result. We have workplace technology in place that is aligned with our culture; delivers an improved user experience and gives us a future proof IT infrastructure that we can continue to develop as our business does.”
