The Challenge
The business is moving its London offices from Chancery Lane to the Arbor building within the landmark Bankside Yards development. Bankside Yards is the UK’s first major mixed-use estate to be net zero carbon in operation, with the all-electric Arbor being powered entirely by renewable energy. Lewis Silkin will occupy two floors of the 19-storey building, comprising 23,000 sq. ft.
The vision of the project is to create a best in class working environment for staff and visitors with an emphasis on wellbeing, sustainability, flexibility and inclusion and a community that fosters a culture of choice and collaboration. Offering a seamless transition between remote and office-based working will be key to a first-class amenity space driving innovation and productivity.
Cordless will offer advice and guidance from strategy through to design and project management to ensure that the Passive, Active, AV, Telephony, Security, and Smart technology streams are considered holistically, including: the devices and applications used, presentation and conferencing solutions, visitor management and resource booking, plus the underlying connectivity, comms room design and intelligent BMS.
Along with an Excellent BREEAM rating and Gold WELL Building standard, Arbor will boast best-in-class technological capabilities, being certified Platinum by WiredScore.
Lewis Silkin teams will benefit from the wellbeing-friendly design of the building including double-height collaboration spaces and outdoor terraces.
