Project Overview
Cordless provided IT and AV consultancy for the development and fit-out of a high-end residential development in the South East of England to bring cohesion and thought leadership in the delivery of an exclusive high specification 21st Century property. Cordless oversaw the design, procurement and contractor management for the IT and AV through to assurance and handover.
Technologies & Innovations
Bespoke IT and Multi-Media technology throughout the development included a wired and wireless LAN infrastructure, telephony, Fixed network and Mobile Signal Regeneration, sound systems, large scale TVs, a curved cinema screen and a control system running on iPads governing all AV, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting systems.
The Challenge
Cordless was engaged to help provide the Client with a new residence incorporating cutting edge, user friendly technology.
The Client wanted a technology-enabled environment throughout the property’s 7 bedrooms, dressing rooms, indoor cinema, sauna room, steam room, wine room, sensory room, dining, reception, lounge and relaxation areas.
The Solution
Through a full assessment of the Client’s requirements, Cordless was able to help provide a technology vision for the property.
Cordless then worked closely with the professional team members to ensure that high-performance user-friendly technology was built into the RIBA construction programme. Cordless provided ongoing project management for the IT physical infrastructure, IT/AV room design, M&E integration and coordination.
High specification display screens were positioned throughout whilst wireless technology combined with mobile signal regeneration provides continuous connectivity. All systems including environmental control can be easily managed via iPads.
The Results
The Client achieved a well-planned luxury property, supported by a resilient, future-proof IT and AV infrastructure.
