The Challenge
Tudor Capital Europe (Tudor) had selected the 10 New Burlington Street development as the new location for its London Headquarters. The premises would be set within the heart of the prestigious Regent Street £1billion regeneration area and needed to accommodate 150 members of staff in a modern, technology-focused West End workplace.
With a professional team already in place, Tudor engaged Cordless to provide AV Consultancy for the relocation to ensure that the AV deployed in the new office would ensure a consistent standard between the UK and the US in terms of the quality of the AV solution and its integration into a seamless, intuitive user experience at both locations. Cordless also had to make sure that AV would integrate with the IT and physical building components with the building and furniture.
The project required a fast-track design process with a flexible consultancy approach.
The Solution
Cordless worked to carefully analyse Tudor’s future workplace requirements and then helped craft an AV vision and strategy for the new HQ. Due diligence was given to the user needs and the impact of new and emerging AV technology on the workspace. Cordless provided an AV design and helped to manage the AV solution procurement and implementation, working with the professional team to align all activities to the construction programme.
Cordless ensured that high performance AV technology was delivered across the Trading Floor, Boardroom, Executive Offices, Client and Internal Meeting Rooms, Breakout Areas, Reception, Restaurant, Gym and Office Space.
The technology included: Room and Desk Booking management with signage; TV, Sky and Cable distribution throughout the building and IP Network; Video Conferencing; and, Central Management for all AV equipment.
Cordless project managed the implementation of the HQ AV to ensure that the desired standards were met including: installation coordination and integration with the project team, witness testing, commissioning and sign off, training and operation and maintenance review.
The Results
Cordless was able to mobilise quickly to provide AV consultancy for this fast-track relocation project and Tudor is very happy with the impact that AV technology has brought to its new headquarters. New global standards have been set, with future-proof AV technologies and tools integrated into the workplace environment to deliver an enhanced user experience.
