The Client

Bank of Beirut (UK) Ltd. is a UK incorporated and regulated bank with equity in excess of £90 Million and a full deposit-taking license. The Bank provides a full range of retail, commercial and deposit-taking services and concentrates on facilitating finance for import and export to corporates, businesses and Correspondent Banks operating between the UK and continental Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The Team

Cyril Leonard, Evolve Consulting, Quantem Consulting, Resonate Interiors, CJ Design, 21 Construction, Constor Solutions, Torpedo Factory Group

The Challenge

The firm was planning to relocate London operations from its existing offices at Curzon Street to a new dedicated building in Cannon Street where it would be sole occupier, taking the whole building comprising basement, ground-6th floors and roof plant space, in total around 20,000 sq. ft. The ground floor of the existing space at Curzon Street would also be retained.

The Bank required workplace technology consultancy to enable the provision of IT and AV services within the new building. Cordless Consultants was engaged to support the Bank’s team to assess requirements, place supply and service orders and oversee delivery and installation of technology within the data room, including network switches, storage, servers and communications services.

The Solution

Cordless supported technology design, procurement and project management of connectivity, new network installation, legacy hardware move, design of data room and associated M&E.

Cordless also gave the Bank advice and guidance on AV, to support the move of existing AV technology and the procurement of new AV technology.

The Results

The Bank has successfully relocated its Head Office operations from the West End to the City of London. The technology that supports the workplace helps to deliver an inviting experience for staff and clients with first-class services and hospitality.

The Bank now has a modern workplace environment with well-provisioned areas including a welcoming entrance, canteen, cycling storage, showers and lockers, breakout and collaboration spaces, an executive meeting floor and event and training rooms.
